A while back someone nailed my truck and took off. I've been keeping my eyes on the local classifieds, and finally:
I paid $150. GM wanted $300 for just the chrome bumper part. My divers side fog light is also buggered - it still works, but it isn't sealed anymore, so water often gets in there. Now I have a replacement fog light, and a spare. And a spare plastic valence for if anything ever happens to the existing one. The guy even tossed in a brand new GM winter front that he had never used. I'm not sure I'll use it either - I've never had a problem with the heat even at -40°C. |

If you find a rear bumper shell for a 2004 Ford FreeStar in dark gray color, let me know. |

Nice job...
How long did it take you? Any probs?
Now where's yer LWD or LBD bumper sticker?
Are you gonna git a bumper guard now so they can't do it again? |

It took about two hours total. No problems at all. It helped to have the new bumper there to figure out which bolts to remove.
I'd like to get a grill gaurd, or even to have gone with an all new bumper, but I just don't have the cash right now. |

Hummer- you should post a picture that also shows the foglights in your "new" bumper are in fact working
Where I live, it seems to be derigeur for SUVers & pickup truckers to have their foglights on at all times, even when there's absolutely no need for them. Especially if you have a tall vehicle, I guess to ensure that your foglights appear smack dab in the middle of my mirrors. |

Make yer grill guard out of wood...I'm sure it will garner some looks... |
